Who Can Become a Donor?
Not everyone can become a bone marrow donor.  Certain rules have been established to
protect the health and safety of the donor and the recipient.  First, there is an age restriction
so only people between 18 and 60 years of age can register.  Second, all donors are required
to fill out a medical questionnaire to determine their suitability as a donor.  While the actual
questionnaire will be mailed to you if you decide to register, the types of questions you will
be asked are as follows:

While we hope that you will be able to donate, there are a lot of other ways that you can help
if you are not eligible.

Testing to join the Bone Marrow Registry currently costs $50 per test. As part of its
